Sustainability Policy

At Drytac, we take our responsibility to protect the environment, our colleagues and customers seriously. In the graphics and visual communications industry, environmental sustainability affects every stage of the production chain, from the sourcing of raw materials to product manufacturing, to shipping them to distributors and end users, to printing and finishing, and disposal. We therefore have a structure in place to monitor and evaluate our practices from start to finish.

Our Environmental Management System undergoes constant improvement to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and other environmental requirements including ISO14001. As such it is Drytac’s policy to minimise the use of energy, water and natural resources; reduce waste through prevention, re-use and recycling; dispose of waste safely and legally; avoid the use of hazardous materials wherever practical; work with environmentally responsible suppliers; and to prevent and minimise environmental factors such as noise and air pollution. Working to meet these goals means our customers – and the environment – benefit.

The Drytac product range includes a number of sustainable innovations, such as media made with biodegradable wood pulp, 100% recyclable packaging that is itself manufactured with 70% recycled board, and materials that can be recycled easily in standard commercial processes. We’re also implementing strategies to prevent and deal with environmental concerns and emergencies and where appropriate to communicate our objectives, targets and achievements.

But we won’t stop at this: we are committed to providing environmental training to our employees, and to promoting environmental awareness to the whole Drytac community – including staff, suppliers, customers and the wider graphics and visual communications industry. Drytac’s sustainability is an ongoing process that we work every day to achieve.
